Can a Quicken user of our Group give me some assistance please? Jim G. Answers from previous meeting: Would you know why one cannot access the symbol for one third, and similar, as one can for one half,etc., although none apparently for email, only for word. There are Alt codes for some fractions additional to those on the keyboard but Brian showed how to use superscript and subscript either side of the fraction bar to create even the strangest of fractions. - Is the registry best left alone? - If a registry is to be cleaned up, which program, preferably freeware, is most suitable? Basic answer on first part was 'yes', especially avoiding programs offered on the Web. There are some programs which do have a good reputation, some suggested included CCleaner, but always create a backup of the registry and generally benefits are not great. |
