Melbourne PC User Group Inc. is the biggest computer user group in the Southern Hemisphere, and the second largest in the world with just over 9,000 members.
The motto of our organisation is 'Users helping Users'
Membership entitles you to a monthly magazine, an extensive 'dial help' telephone service, and the opportunity to attend a number of different types of interest group meetings, where you can meet fellow computer users, in a friendly welcoming atmosphere each month.
At each meeting there is always time for your questions and
usually someone at the meeting can assist you with your computer software or hardware problem.
Meetings are held monthly in most areas of Melbourne. Some of these meetings are special interest groups eg Web site design, Teen Game Development or Video editing, whilst some are general interest groups.
In the North-Eastern suburbs we have three groups meeting at various times, at the same venue in Ivanhoe.
