North-East Genealogy Group

A Subsidiary of The Melbourne PC User Group Inc.

This genealogy group started in October 2003.

We meet at the Uniting Church Hall 

3 Seddon Street Ivanhoe (Melway 31 F8)

We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month 

at 10:00am through to about 12:30pm. 

There is a balance of members with experience in genealogy 

but there also novices. 

The role of the MelbPC NE Genealogy Group is one of pointing members 

toward the best and appropriate sources of information, and 

to assist them with the use of computers for this purpose.  

We are not an “A” grade source of information, but we can provide information 

and material to help in their search for family history 

Visitors are welcomed to the meetings where members have a good social atmosphere  

and enjoy helping each other. 

MelbPC NE Genealogy Group has scheduled presentations 

by the best of speakers on genealogy topics. 

Meetings are supported with excellent facilities.
