If you are able to email these to neday@melbpc.org.au at least 48 hours ahead of the meeting, we will try to have an answer for you.
David Hatton will present "A Practical Introduction to Ubuntu Linux".
David will demonstrate installing the latest Ubunturelease in tandem with Microsoft Windows.
Then he will explore the desktop settings, updating software, and some of the applications.
If you want to obtain a copy of the Ubuntu . iso file to use for burning a CD for yourself,
bring along a USB memory drive with about 1 GB free"
Our TRADING TABLE will be available for your
sale items.
Remember to mark them clearly with your name and sale price.
Please wear a name tag to meetings. This can be your own creation
(ie It does not have to be your MelbPc
Members’ card)
Our
monthly disk is available at the meeting. $5.00 each.
Please
bring your Flash Drive for a copy of any handouts.
