The North Eastern General Interest Group (NEAST-GIG), being a regional GIG has the advantage of not being restricted to a single subject. Therefore, the aim of the North Eastern GIG is to share knowledge amongst its members on any computer related subject desired. The North Eastern GIG first met on the 24th April 2001 with an attendance of approximately 170 people. As such there will undoubtedly be a board range of knowledge amongst its members. All meetings start with a question and answer session followed by one or more presentations.

For those people who have trouble getting to the NE-GIG there is an associated day-time GIG (NEDAY).
