Downloads found here are only small and are available to anyone however, use at your own risk.  The latest update to theWindows 9X help file was uploaded on 18 October 04.  The latest update to the Windows XP help file was uploaded on 19 May 06.

1. Nigel's Windows 9X Help File – 529K Bytes. This help file is for users of Windows 95 through to Windows 98SE.  Most of the tips within this help file will also work with Windows ME however, they are not recommended for use with Windows NT, 2000 or XP.

2. Nigel's Windows XP Help File – 236K Bytes. This help file is for users of Windows XP.  It is written for users who understand at least a little about the Windows XP operating system and should be used with care by novice users.  You will not find detailed explanitions with all the tips provided, so if you do not understand what effect a tip will have, do not keep a regular backup or know how to recover from a crashed system, it is probably best if you don't use this help file.  That said the tips given in this help file should not cause any serious problems.

3. Data Recovery Document – 340K Bytes. This document is the hand-out from the November 03 meeting.
