Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing is a way to make money from your website by displaying advertisements that promote the goods and services of other people. There are hundreds of different advertising opportunities on the web. All you need to start earning some cash is a website (preferably a popular one).

This Special Interest Group (SIG) covers all aspects of Affiliate Marketing including:

• building and marketing your website;
• helping users to find your website via search engines through search engine optimisation;
• regular discussion of affiliate companies and the advertising opportunities they offer;
• optimising advertisement placement to maximise returns;
• useful software to assist in the building, promotion and maintenance of your website.

It is desirable that users attending this group already have their own website, but this is not essential.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month (except in December and January) at Level 2, Chadstone Place, Chadstone Shopping Centre (near Bi-Lo and above the gym).

Two hour meetings start at 10 am
Admission is free and visitors are welcome
